About us
We buy and sell enterprise data centre hardware, and handle what happens at the end of its life.
TSS Inventory started because refresh cycles throw away working equipment. A three-year-old storage array is not obsolete; it is simply off the vendor's support matrix. Somewhere there is an operator who needs exactly that array, and somewhere else there is a finance director paying to store it in a cage.
We connect the two. That means holding real stock, testing what we sell, and being straight about grade — a unit with a scratched bezel and a unit with a questionable backplane are not the same thing, and the listing should say which you are getting.
The decommissioning side grew from the same customers asking who they could trust with drives full of their data. We erase to a recognised standard, certify per serial number, and send the rest to a licensed recycler with the paperwork to prove it.
How we work
Condition reported honestly
Grading is written down before you buy, not discovered on arrival.
Stock we actually hold
If it is listed, it is on our shelf or with a named supplier.
One contact throughout
The person who quotes you is the person who follows the order.
Data handled properly
Erasure certified per drive, documentation retained for audit.
Priced against the market
Valuations track what kit is moving for now, not book value.
Answers the same day
Quotes inside one working day, usually much sooner.
